SkillsFuture Credit can be used for online micro-learning courses from September

Singaporeans can soon use their SkillsFuture Credit to take micro-learning courses. These are bite-sized modules in online packages that let people pick up skills easily on-the-go. More than 80,000 such courses will be offered by three platforms: NTUC Learning Hub, Gnowbe, and ZilLearn. The two-year pilot is a tie up with SkillsFuture Singapore, which organised a roadshow on Aug 20. At the event, Minister of State for Education Gan Siow Huang said, so far, over 725,000 have used their credits since the scheme’s launch in 2015. Around 95% of the courses taken were work-related.
